What should be known
Math
By the end of kindergarden your child should be able to:
- Understand that number are just symbols that represnt how many are of something.
- Knows what time is and can tell time closest to the nearest hour.
- Can recite the numbers 1 though 20 corresponding to flash cards.
- Can combined and separate sets using objects.
- Can Classify and short sets.
- Can solve addition problems through 10.
- Can tell you the differnece between more, less. and the same.
- Can recognize half of whole objects

Things your child will learn are:
- The life cycle of plants and animals:the smilarities an differences between the two and identifying their characteristics.
- Seasons and the weather: the weather changes from day to day, and through out the seasons.
- The human body: the parts of the body and the five senses.
- Measurement and motion: how magnets push and pull, and comparing objects by their weight and size.
Social Studies
Thing your child will learn:
- They will become familiar with the people and events that are associated woth the U.S. national holidays.
- They will be able to put the days, weeks, and months in correct order.
- They will be able to recongnize things like national, state symbols, and icons. Such as flags and the statue of liiberty.
- They will learn that their are differnt countries and the similarities and differences of them.
- Can tell and show the diffences between the land and water on the globe or the map.
- They will learn the differnces of their families, school, and community from other countries and times.
